Steel bar and coil

Super Steel supplies, cuts and bends reinforcing to the latest standards and adheres to regular and consistent quality checks to meet customer requirements.

Products assessed by ACRS to the following Standards:
• AS/NZS 4671 Grade R300E Micro-alloyed Plain Bar
• AS/NZS 4671 Grade D300E Micro-alloyed Deformed
• AS/NZS 4671 Grade D500E Micro-alloyed Deformed Bar
• AS/NZS 4671 Grade 500E Micro-alloyed Reid Bar

• Standard Lengths: 6m and 12m are available for Grade 500E, and 6m for Grade 300E
• Special diameters, lengths and grades are available on request.

Steel mesh

We offer a range of mesh sheet sizes to meet the needs of typical New Zealand applications.

Seismic 500E grade of reinforcing mesh designed to withstand the forces of seismic activity provides stronger reinforcement to concrete foundations.

Hard drawn mesh is more suitable for non-structural applications, such as driveways and footpaths.

Reinforcing Accessories

We offer a wide range of accessories required on site, such as bar chairs, safety caps, shims and heavy-duty circular spacers.

Cage Prefabrication

Super Steel is a specialist manufacturer and supplier of prefabricated pile cages to meet the design requirements of specific contracts.

Our pile cages are produced by skilled steel fixers in a controlled environment in order to meet high tolerances and quality standards. We have years of experience in the prefabrication of every type of cage, from small residential piles, ground beams, pile caps up to large infrastructure projects.

Take off & detailing

Our experienced and quality team of detailers interpret the project engineers' design from the structural drawings supplied and in accordance with industry best practice and in compliance with New Zealand’s building standards and codes, then prepare schedules of custom rebar components ready for fabrication and bundled hiab delivery to the project.

Our Detailing System provides easy to read detailed breakdown of each product with a track and trace ability in the backend of the system.
